Heart of Glass-1

Shredding her heart into pieces,

His stare pierced her armor,

As they looked away,

Who shied away was the only question left,

His one wink sent ripples through her,

All unspoken and yet so much was said,

Her every move was evidence of her love,

As was his every glance of passion,

Love had eluded her for a lifetime,

With a heart now so full of cracks,

Much like a glass artwork,

Was it ever whole,

Was it love, or just life...

Heart of Glass-2

Staring at a slice of the red moon,

She exhaled a deep sigh,

Its red fumes diffused into the dark sky,

Ecstasy filled her being,

Twas the night before the storm.

As the moon lost its hue,

Her eyes filled up with tears,

Now it shone a bright yellow,

Her heart melted, clearing all cracks,

Twas the calm before the storm.

Alone in the big, dark sky,

Once again, She stood her ground,

Existence, as the only evidence of its blazing past,

Was it ever broken,

Was it love, or just life?
